When you look at the roses, do you focus in the thorns? Or do you delight your sight contemplating the tender and soft petals?
I am the kind of person who tries not to pay much attention in the ugly things of life. It costs the same amount of money to sting a finger with the thorn of a rose, or to invest precious time smelling the pleasant scent of the flower!
How do you spend your time in your home? What do you talk about on dinner time? What are your inner thoughts when you are facing an adverse situation?
The principle is quite simple- If you are the kind of person who is talking over and over again about the economic crisis, the oil spill, the murder of infants around the world, etc., etc., guess what? You will get more and more of that same life-cake in your life!
Take this very moment to ponder what your thoughts have been in the last hours, days or weeks? What have you been focusing on since you made your New Year´s Resolutions? Do you still remember them? If not, why did you forget them? What are you focusing on?
For each hour you loose focus on the important and strategic matters of life, you loose sixty seconds of enhancement! Only if you focus in the significant things of life, you will transform action into satisfaction.
Remember as well that each moment you do not work to build your freedom, someone else will be taking another decision to weave a transparent cage to keep you trapped and away from your dearest dreams!
You definitely have to be building your path to success and aiming for your dreams objectives on a consistent basis of action and thought.
S-T-O-P focusing in those things that smell like garbage. Get rid for good from those ghosts that float in your mind and keep you away from reaching the top of your own Mount Everest of success.
Each moment you loose the opportunity to become a step forward, up and closer to reach your dreams, is like flying away and becoming a mile away from your desired heaven.
YOU-CAN-DO-IT!! Then DO-IT focusing on what is really valuable and bright for you.
Kisses and Blessings,
Jamie V.

Great post honey #mwah Suz x
2 years ago a tragedy shattered my world and showed me exactly what you are talking about, it is up to each person to make the world a better place starting with themselves ! Just as I quit smoking to stop contaminating the planet and those around me, our thoughts, all of them effect the world around us, just walk past an angry person and feel the waves they give off, then walk past a joyful happy person and feel the difference. So many of us don’t stop to feel the waves of emotion we give off or see the ripple effect it causes….and I care about my footprint on this world…and the more who wake up and see… the better the world will be. :~) (hugs)
thanks for being one !!!
This is so true. Thanks for sharing these insights!
Well said, Jamie and I couldn’t agree with you more. I, like you, choose to spend my precious time “smelling the pleasant scent of the flower!” I choose to see all the beauty, love and goodness left in this world. Lets spend more time finding and focusing on the positive and beautiful things, which will make us a better person, and ultimately, the world a better place to live in. Thanks for sharing this wonderful post! xo
Love the post! You are so right, too much time is being focus on negative things rather than good things. Well said!
Amen.
Always spot on Jamie; great job! This is all we can do with negative minded people…remind them of what their life COULD look like through another view.
Thanks for adding more positivity to the world. I love how many people are speaking, writing, talking about focusing on what is good in this world. My sense is that if the news media only reported about positive happenings – they wouldn’t have enough hours in the day! I’ve been reading “The Big Leap” by Gay Hendricks – it’s right in line with your focus on the positive.
Love the post!!
I love this message!
