How frequently it is our tendency is to judge somebody based on what we perceive through our senses. This happens too often and it is so sad. We lack perspective and wisdom when we do such an awful thing. We forget that each individual is a garden in herself in which different kinds of flowers, colors and fragrances dwell. When we judge another human we limit ourselves to walk happily through that awesome and unique garden.
By judging a friend, a neighbour, a relative or simply someone walking down the street we are truly defining who we really are and what limitations we see in ourselves. Let me explain my self- If I judge another person´s outfit or dress style, I am really saying that I am not satisfied with my OWN clothes, body, or even worse, with my inner self.
Instead of judging another person we should acknowledge that God dwells in our neighbours and remember that other humans are God´s way of telling us there is richness in diversity and uniqueness. There is an awesome voyage of discovery in having new eyes and heart when looking to new souls landscapes.
One handy and convenient action is that when we notice a negative thought about someone we know or have contact with, let it pass like the wind and breath a beautiful idea to show love to that garden of God- i.e. that other human.
Each time I am in a situation in which I can judge my friend or neighbour, I can transform that dark and ugly temptation into a powerful moment to show love to her or him right there and then. It is your brightright to have a direct experience with God and attract good positive things to your own life-garden.
Remember that life shrinks or expands in proportion to one´s love to others.

WoW! Awesome: “It is your brightright to have a direct experience with God and attract good positive things to your own life-garden.”
Thank you Jamie for another subject to think about, we are so fast to judge others based on misconceptions dwelt early on in our lives that make us believe only WE are right; but it seems that this narrow viewpoint is starting to change and I believe that humanity is beginning to “wake up” to a new consciousness and finally understanding that there is a place for ALL of us in this world. Many XOXO
The people that judge the most seem the most unhappy. Really happy people don’t judge, they don’t have time to. Its people that are empty inside or are lacking in someway or another that are the ones always commenting on others. I try may best to stay away from those people.
Great blog post!
Wishing you the best.
I think that it’s human nature to judge almost constantly. I am always making distinctions in order to make great decisions. It’s an evaluative process whose engine should always be mercy, and love. If this is the case, then condemnation is never the outcome, just wise choices. I think that you are making this point beautifully Jamie, I think.
Through our experience of God we can make distinctions that amount to judgment, but with God’s help, we can also refrain from condemning, opting to give grace and then to love anyway! You’re a gifted, bright young woman! How’s that for a judgment?
Great post Jamie!
I love your blog, it is so true and makes you think twice…..(treat others as you want them to treat you)
Thank you for the inspiration =)
Great thoughts!! Keep up the sharing on a wonderful message. Sorry I don’t get here more often. But you are in thoughts, like this AM, when I was out and about during market shopping.
I’m such a picky person. I go around making judgements all the time. For awhile now I’ve been trying to catch myself and stop. Thanks for the reminder that I can also turn those moments into moments of love.
